What's Changing: A Platform Built for How You Actually Learn
Based on your feedback and our learnings, we're reimagining the Reforge experience from the ground up:
More Intuitive Learning Experience. It’s the same frameworks you love but easier to find and navigate, whether you’re taking a course live or trying to learn on-demand. We’ve invested in improving search, navigation, progress tracking, and accessibility.
On-the-Go Learning with Mobile. Learn wherever you are, whenever inspiration strikes (even if that means listening to lessons while you’re on the treadmill*). Our mobile experience will finally match the quality you expect from Reforge. *Fun fact: this is a verbatim request made by multiple community members over the years!
Upskill with Your Team. It’s easier than ever for your team to learn together, share insights, and build collective knowledge. Teams also have the ability to develop custom learning plans tailored to their shared goals and challenges.
Increased Platform Reliability and Stability. We're addressing sources of friction (like load times) and re-building a platform that consistently delivers.
What to Expect
We’ll migrate to the new platform experience on Wednesday, September 3rd. Current members will hear from us about a week before launch to share more information about what the new experience will look like, how to use it, what to do in case something goes wrong, and ways to share product feedback with our team. It’s our goal to do everything we can to make this transition as seamless as possible for you.
All that being said, we know change can be hard, especially when we have some members who have been with us since the very beginning -- and who have gotten used to certain ways of learning and getting value out of Reforge Learning.
Like many product people, we are our own harshest critics. As we’ve been dog-fooding the changes internally and testing with others, here are some things we’ve learned:
It can take a little time to adjust to the new ways of doing things. That being said, we found that our patience was rewarded (and are optimistic that yours will be, too). Once we rewired our old muscle memory, we found that the new ways felt much more intuitive.
Ask for help. We figured out our new workflows much more quickly when we figured it out together. Not only do you have our whole team to help you out, but you have the support of an incredible community of peers who are very generous with their learnings.
Use the opportunity to focus your learning. We found that this refreshed experience was a fantastic chance to reflect on what we were trying to learn and why.
What Hasn't Changed and Why Our Conviction Remains Strong
We know the market is crowded with learning platforms and experts. However, while we're evolving how we deliver value, our core remains the same: high-quality, vetted content that drives real impact in your work. The frameworks, insights, and community that have made Reforge special aren't going anywhere — they're just getting better and easier-to-use.
We're incredibly excited about this next chapter and can't wait to share more details in the coming weeks.
