Reforge is joining Miro ↗
A couple of years ago, we recognized how big of a shift AI would be. Not just a technology shift, but a knowledge shift. Every product team would need new tools and new thinking to navigate the biggest transition our industry has ever seen.
We set out to provide both expert-led education to sharpen how teams think and AI-powered products to change how they work. Today, I'm excited to announce the next chapter of that journey: Miro is acquiring Reforge.
This has been an incredible 10-year journey. Andrew Chen and I created the first Growth Series almost exactly 10 years ago. What started as a single course has grown into a community of over 100,000 alumni and SaaS products used by product teams everywhere.
Joining Miro lets us accelerate everything we've been building. Their user base of 100M+ individuals and 275K organizations will give Reforge community, partners, and products incredible reach. I’m excited for the next chapter.
What This Means For You
The combination of Reforge and Miro creates a win-win for both communities. Here's what you need to know:
Reforge Learning isn't going anywhere. Reforge Learning will remain a separate brand and community, dedicated to bringing expert-created and expert-led courses on the most important topics in tech. We'll continue expanding our AI, product, and growth courses while adding new topic areas like Design and Engineering.
Reforge Insights, Research, and Build are joining a much larger platform. These products will be integrated into the Miro platform as part of their Product Acceleration solution, giving current Reforge customers access to even more tools to accelerate their product efforts.
FAQ
Are there any changes to the Reforge Spring Learning Cohort? No changes. The Spring cohort starts the week of April 6th. Check out the courses and enroll today for topics like AI Evals, AI Prototyping, AI Growth, AI Strategy, and more.
I'm a Reforge customer. Do I need to do anything? No. We'll continue supporting all products. Reforge Learning will continue on Reforge.com. Over time, Reforge Insights, Research, and Build will be integrated into the Miro Product Acceleration offering. If you have questions, reach out to hello@reforge.com or your closest Reforge contact.
Will my past course content and materials still be accessible? Yes. No changes to access are occurring.
Will Reforge pricing change? No. There are no price changes at this time.
I'm not a Miro user. Do I need to become one? No. Reforge Learning will continue to operate independently on Reforge.com. You do not need a Miro account.
Will there be new courses as a result of this combination? Yes. We plan on creating additional courses across our existing topics of AI, product, and growth as well as new topics. More coming soon.
Thank You
While the journey continues, I want to take this moment for some personal thank yous, because Reforge has never been a one-person effort.
To all current and former Reforge employees, I feel grateful to have worked with and learned from so many of you along this journey. Thank you for all of your contributions.
To Andrew Chen, who was my original partner, co-creator, and first Reforge investor. He took a bet on me and an idea before there was anything to bet on. Reforge wouldn't exist without him.
To Casey Winters, Shaun Clowes, Kevin Kwok, and Elena Verna, who took the early leap as our first course creation partners. They shaped how Reforge thought, taught, and built. 90% of what I know about product and growth comes from them.
To Adam Fishman, Darius Contractor, and Lee Jacobs, who have been the endless optimists and cheerleaders in the background, even in the worst moments. Every founder needs people like them.
And to the HubSpot Alumni Network — Dharmesh Shah, Brian Halligan, JD Sherman, Christopher O'Donnell, Michael Pici, Katie Burke, Kipp Bodnar, Kieran Flanagan, and so many others. The depth of support from this group has been an extraordinary force behind Reforge from the very beginning, and unlike anything I've experienced.
Here's to the next 10 years.
