Reforge in JIRA and Linear: Write Better Tickets
What It Is
The Reforge Extension now supports JIRA and Linear, offering suggestions as you create bugs and feature requests.
Why We Built It
Great features start with great JIRA tickets, but even top product leaders can make mistakes at this stage. Reforge helps you avoid oh sh** moments like ensuring you add tracking before shipping, highlights key questions during feature development, and helps you avoid mistakes when shipping.
This feature exemplifies an environmental loop—cues or triggers in natural problem areas that reinforce core habits with your product. We cover this concept in-depth in this Reforge lesson.
How We Built It
When you create a ticket, our extension reads all the information you've entered so far and provides recommendations on how to improve it. It gives feedback on critical aspects you might have forgotten or overlooked, as well as areas to expand, improve, or tighten the ticket itself. Our model is trained on the wealth of knowledge in the Reforge network.

Quickly Draft Documents Based On Artifacts
What It Is
You can now create your own strategic work documents in minutes using select Artifacts on Reforge.
Why We Built It
Artifacts were designed so you never have to start from scratch on projects. As a long-requested feature from our members, you can turn Artifacts into real work with the click of a button and a few prompts. Create a draft to save you time writing your strategic documents and feel confident that the quality is rooted in top-tier Reforge expertise.
How We Built It
We began by manually creating drafts and testing them with early beta users to ensure accuracy, completeness, and usability. We then designed custom AI prompts that consider the Artifact you’re viewing and any unique context you've shared about your work to generate a personalized draft.

We’re Now Offering A 14-Day Free Trial
What It Is
When a new user joins Reforge, they’ll have the option to try Reforge for free for 14 days. Users on a trial will have access to everything we have to offer and can cancel at any point during the two week period.
Why We Built It
This is a long requested feature that we hope will help prospective customers and make it easier for you to bring colleagues into the Reforge ecosystem.
Along with this change, we have folded all Artifacts into the membership. We offered these for free when we launched to help us understand how they were going to be used but are now officially making them a membership only feature. For more details, head here.
How We Built It
The development process for this feature looked like this:
Read reforge content on monetization to figure out a strategy that would work well for us
Built a prototype to get user feedback
Released the feature and did usability testing after launch
Now, we’re working on iterations to make it even easier for users to get started

What It Is
We made it easier to access our on-demand course material across the platform.
Why We Built It
Based on your feedback, we learned that navigating to on-demand courses had too much friction. To address this, we've streamlined the navigation and improved the visibility of our on-demand courses across the platform. This means less time searching and more time learning.
How We Built It
We audited the common paths that members took to find on-demand courses, and identified a series of small improvements we could ship quickly.

A Personalized Homepage
What It Is
Daily updated content and course recommendations tailored to your preferences and activity on Reforge, all on your homepage.
Why We Built It
To save you time and effort, we recommend relevant content and courses based on your activity in Reforge and your profile information. The more you use Reforge, the better the recommendations get, enhancing your learning experience.
How We Built It
Content recommendations is a new use case for how we can leverage large language models (LLMs) to personalize Reforge to our member’s unique needs. As our members consume content on Reforge, we now make inferences about what types of content you might be interested to read next. We run search queries using those inferences to return a set of recommendations tailored to a given member’s activity.

Explore Your New Homepage
SSO: SAML and SCIM for Large Teams
What It Is
Enabling our large teams to securely authenticate and provision their seats using their internal identity providers.
Why We Built It
Serving our Enterprise customers means ensuring that they’re able to manage their team easily and keep their platform secure. SSO integrates with their existing user management to ensure that Reforge fits seamlessly into their user management process.
How We Built It
To move quickly and enable this frequently requested feature, we elected to use a third-party tool rather than build custom in-house.

Sneak Peek: Listening Mode (coming soon)
What It Is
We are rolling out the ability to “listen” to our course content so you can learn on the go.
Why We Built It
This has been a feature that members have asked for for a long time. Reforge courses are packed with great insights, but our members don’t want to have to sit in front of a computer each time they want to learn. But with listening mode, which works on desktop and mobile, you can make progress on your course no matter where you are.
How We Built It
We take the content from each guide to generate a script, which we then feed into a third party tool to generate an audio file.
Guides that have listening mode will have a play icon at the top of the page. To start listening, simply click the icon.
